More on children and happiness

Following on from my previous posting I’d like to draw your attention to a few related articles that also, indirectly, touch on the important issue of happiness and raising children.

The extent to which praise leads to happiness and self-esteem is not as simple as we might sometimes think so if you want to build and foster happiness in your kids you might also like to consider some of the interesting points made in this stories.

    The article on “how not to talk to your kids” was so interesting. I am guilty of maybe over praising my children and I can see that it has in some cases affected them negativley rather than postively. Not that we shouldn’t praise our children, but there are better ways of doing it. Thanks for posting the articles.
